The Brave Will Foundation invites you to attend the 3rd Annual Evening of Will Power gala on Saturday, April 21st at the National Museum of Dance in Saratoga Springs. The theme of this year’s event is “Remember what it was like to be a kid.” As we gather on the 21st, we’re hoping this theme will resonate with all who attend as we think about the struggles and challenges that the children this foundation supports face every day. Yet despite those obstacles, they all have one common desire–to live every day like any other child their age would live. The program we support at Albany Medical Center, Journeys, is allowing this to happen. Through the care of the individuals who work on the Journeys team, these children are given opportunities to enjoy life to the fullest extents possible, no matter the disease, no matter the odds, no matter the barriers.
Our annual gala is the Brave Will Foundation’s biggest fundraiser of the year and through it, we strive to raise money to support the Journeys program at Albany Med and to support those children with life threatening illnesses and their families. We need your support by attending the gala or making a donation. Last year, we raised nearly $40,000 at the gala and would like to top that amount this year. You can help us by joining us on April 21st and being part of something unique that is truly having an impact on children in the greater Capital Region.
We have moved the gala to a new venue this year–the National Museum of Dance in Saratoga. This new location will allow our event to grow to greater heights as we hope to build on our attendance last year of 325 people. The event will once again feature dancing, live music from 2096, casino games for chances to win amazing prize packages, unique raffle opportunities, open bar, and food catered by Panza’s Restaurant. In addition, the event will be designed and decorated by Experience Events. We are thrilled to once again have the support and talents of so many amazing people as the gala continues to grow.
Tickets can be purchased starting today and are available until April 5th. You can purchase tickets on our website or through the mail. Visit our official Gala 2012 web page for information on purchasing tickets. On that page, you will also find information about reserving a hotel room near the museum for the night of the event. You can also find more information on our Gala Frequently Asked Questions page. If you haven’t attended the gala in the past, be sure to take a look at pictures from last year’s gala.
We understand that there are endless organizations seeking your support each and every year. We hope you can see that the impact of your support of the Brave Will Foundation will be felt locally across the region and your name will be attached to a foundation that is known in this area as a group that is truly making a difference in the lives of children who are battling each and every day.
