Over 350 people packed the National Museum of Dance last Saturday for the 3rd Annual Evening of Will Power gala. It was the most ever to attend our annual event. Those in attendance were treated to some unforgettable attractions: the music of 2096 that got the dance floor hopping; the raucous crowds at the casino games; the delicious make-your-own sundaes at the Ben&Jerry's ice cream stand; the escape to the outdoor cigar bar. Kicking and Sweating to Raise Money
On Sunday, January 8th, over thirty women (and even a couple of men) kicked, punched, huffed and puffed to help support the Brave Will Foundation. The kickboxing fundraiser that was held at Budokai of Clifton Park was a great success as these participants worked hard for sixty minutes while helping raise money for the foundation. In the end, the event raised $500 for the foundation! The Brave Will Foundation would like to thank Budokai of Clifton Park for hosting the event and extend a huge thank you to Karen Minoogian for volunteering her time to lead the workout. A Victory for the Brave Will Foundation and the BH-BS Hockey Team
This past Friday night, the 2nd Annual Brave Will Hockey game was held featuring the Burnt Hills-Ballston Spa varsity hockey team, who sponsor the event to raise awareness and funds for the Brave Will Foundation. In a hard-fought contest, the Spartans defeated Guilderland Mohonasen 4 to 3. More importantly, the team did so much more to support the Brave Will Foundation. They efforts of the players, parents, schools, and community paid off as the team was able to raise nearly $900 to support the mission of the Brave Will Foundation.
